This Flatbush one bedroom with central air is listed for $1,900.

If you’re looking for a new rental in New York City this summer and want to be comfortable when the temperature soars, you might have more luck finding an apartment with central air conditioning now with so many vacant places on the market to choose from.

You’ll not only stay cooler—you won’t have to spend hundreds on window units—and you don’t have to look at (or hear) them. There are also other benefits: Your entire apartment will stay cool and you’ll have cleaner air circulating.

You’re most likely to find apartments with central air in new developments, which means you might also land an apartment with other upgrades like stainless steel appliances and in-unit washer/dryers. And you can also find renovated apartments in older buildings that have added central air.

So, if you’re on the hunt for a rental with central air, consider these five apartments in Flatbush, Yorkville, Elmhurst, Tribeca, and Murray Hill for less than $4,000 a month.
