We all know New York City is expensive, but we were recently made aware of just how out of whack prices are here compared to the rest of the country when news broke that an entire South Dakota town is on the market for $400,000. At last count, the average Manhattan apartment sold for $1.68 million.
If you're the lucky owner of a Brooklyn brownstone, we'd imagine it would be hard to part with it.
