How much total do you plan to tip the building staff this year?

Given that the neighborhood is bracing for an L train shutdown, Willamsburg properties need to up the ante to keep attracting renters, and the building Leonard Pointe, home to this two-bedroom, definitely does. The development, which opened in 2014, aims to provide a holistic experience to renters with a suite of services and amenities that you'd expect from a high-end hotel.

And while the price of this apartment, which is listed for $4,550 per month by Fidder Realty, isn't the highest you'll find in the neighborhood, it leans toward the upper end.

There are inventive design flourishes that make the space striking, like a wine rack built into the kitchen island, a spiral faucet, and custom cabinetry--plus, it doesn't hurt that there's a private balcony off the living room. Each living area also comes with Bluetooth speakers, handy for when you're cooking and entertaining.

The dark hardwood flooring in the master bedroom gives the space the feel of a rustic-chic retreat; a second bedroom, while not pictured, is close in size and both come with generous closet space. There are also full bathrooms off each bedroom, featuring chic penny and subway tiles. One has a snazzy walk-in shower, while the other a soaking tub.

Leonard Pointe is close to the Metropolitan Avenue G train, sparing renters the trouble of the pending L shutdown. The development also offers a heap of amenities, many of which seem designed to encourage socializing: You'll find a landscaped roof deck with day beds, a community game room, a screening room, playroom, and gym. There's also 24-hour concierge service, as well as a live-in super.
