Applications are open for 29 apartments in a new building at 1511 Bedford Ave., Brooklyn, through the city housing lottery.
The apartments are studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms set aside for people in six income brackets spanning $30,480-$62,580 for households of one to four individuals. Rents are $816 for a studio, $877 for a one bedroom, and $1,064 for a two bedroom.
Building amenities listed include a roof deck, gym, recreation room, bicycle storage, and on-site parking. Some amenities require a fee.

The smoke-free building, located near St. John’s Place, will have an additional 85 units available at market rates. Nearby trains include the 2, 3, 4, and 5 at Franklin Avenue, and the Shuttle at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
