Along with festive pumpkin-carving and furtive candy-eating, another one of our favorite fall traditions is upon us: Open House New York, where historically and architecturally significant buildings across the city open their doors to the public for one weekend every year. Whether your thing is forbidding armories, stately old brownstones, or dazzling new construction, there are options for everyone, and in all five boroughs—you can check out the schedule and plan your own route here.

As for us, our editors will be posting to Instagram and Facebook Live from all over the city, so stay tuned to Brick to see some of our personal favorites.

Brick Underground articles occasionally include the expertise of, or information about, advertising partners when relevant to the story. We will never promote an advertiser's product without making the relationship clear to our readers.
