The pandemic kicked demand for single-family houses in Brooklyn into high gear thanks to buyers who were craving more room, private outdoor space, and maybe even a parking space.

That’s still true today. Sales of one- to three-family houses in the fourth quarter were up almost 16 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2020, with a total of 1,457 sales, according to the latest Elliman Report. And the current median sales price of one- to three-family houses also increased to $1,100,000, according to the report.

However you can still find a range of options among single-family houses for sale across the borough. There are currently 496 houses listed on StreetEasy.
