Late last week we considered the similarities and differences of two adjacent leafy, family-friendly neighborhoods in Brooklyn: Park Slope and Windsor Terrace. If you're in the market for an apartment and these neighborhoods pique your interest, you're in luck. We've rounded up a diverse selection of open houses happening in the area, all at prices under the local median sale price (which admittedly is pushing $1 million).

225 Lincoln Pl. #4A, Park Slope

This recently renovated split two-bedroom, one-bath co-op in Park Slope is on the fourth floor of a prewar walk-up building. The apartment has bamboo floors, an IKEA kitchen with extra storage, and two California Closets. The building has a laundry room, a bike room, and two common courtyards. No dogs allowed.

Listing price: $730,000

Open house: Sunday, Feb. 11th, noon-2 p.m.

207 A Prospect Ave. #3A, Park Slope

This one bedroom, one bath is in a small new condo building. It features central air and heat, an open kitchen, white oak floors, and large windows. The building has a video intercom system and a common roof deck. The unit seems to be in the back of the building, but the building is across the street from the Prospect Expressway.

Listing price: $535,000

Open house: Sunday, Feb. 11th, 2-4 p.m.

103 Prospect Park West #5R, Park Slope

This junior one bedroom (or large studio) is in a 1920 building across from Prospect Park. It has bay windows, high ceilings, custom cedar closets, and hardwood floors. Note: it's a walk-up.

Listing price: $425,000

Open house: Sunday, Feb. 11th, 1-3 p.m.

651 Vanderbilt St. #2G, Windsor Terrace

This two-bedroom, one bath co-op has an eat-in kitchen, an open dining room and living room layout, and a master bedroom that fits a king-size bed. Nice details include oak floors and French doors. The building has a package room with 24-hour access, a live-in super, porters, parking (there's a waitlist) and a bike storage room.

The apartment recently had a price cut, and with good reason. There are two other apartments for sale in the building, and all three are having open houses on Sunday at around the same time.

Listing price: $730,000

Open house: Sunday, Feb. 11th, noon-1:30 p.m.

651 Vanderbilt St. #1D, Windsor Terrace

Located in the same building as the apartment above, this two bedroom, one bath has a renovated bathroom and a custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a farmhouse sink, and quartzite counters. There's a generous master bedroom and several closets, and the building is pet-friendly, allowing one dog per apartment.

Listing price: $750,000

Open house: Sunday, Feb. 11th, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
