This condo comes with a balcony and deeded storage unit.
The first thing that jumped out about this listing was its price, especially given its location—the heart of Dumbo, which recently was named the most expensive neighborhood in Brooklyn in a report by Property Shark.
This two bedroom, two bath, 84 Front St., #8F, is going for $1,325,000, a relative steal when you consider that the median price for a two bedroom in the area is $2,350,000, according to StreetEasy. It also saw a $50,000 price reduction about a month ago.
The south-facing apartment features high ceilings, Brazilian hardwood floors, and central air. It also includes a private balcony off the living room and a deeded storage unit in the basement
The open kitchen has the usual high-end touches, including granite countertops, a large island, and Bosch and GE stainless steel appliances. For added convenience, there’s a double-wide pantry, as well as a vented Miele washer/dryer.
The master bedroom has an en suite bath and walk-in closet, and the description says it can accommodate a king-size bed.
The second bedroom, with two closets, looks to be currently used as an office or guest room.
The master bath includes a soaking tub as well as a separate glass-enclosed rain shower. The second bath, not pictured, also has a tub.
The pet-friendly building, named the Nexus, offers a full-time doorman, superintendent, fitness center, and landscaped common terrace, which includes a grill. Monthly common charges are $1,062; taxes, currently abated until 2022, are $191.
Nearby transit includes the F train at York Street and the A and C trains at the High Street station. Multiple waterfront parks are just a couple blocks away, as are several shops and restaurants, including Superfine, Jacques Torres Chocolate, and Brooklyn Roasting Company.
There’s an open house scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 21st, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
