Rent in a new Chelsea building for as low as $596/month

Applications have just opened for 75 affordable rentals in one of three brand-new towers rising along the High Line in Chelsea, according to a new listing on NYC Housing Connect. Located at 507 West 28th Street, the apartment options include a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms ranging from $596/month to $979/month, for renters with annual incomes ranging from $21,772 to $45,300, depending on household and apartment size.

According to the listing, amenities will include an attended lobby, recreation room, roof deck, and for extra fees, a fitness center, laundry room, parking, and bike storage. As usual with this type of listing, preference for have of these apartments will be given to current neighborhood residents, in this case of Manhattan's Community Board 4.
