Apply to rent a Midwood apartment starting at $1,350 a month

Applications are open for 15 newly constructed apartments at 1930 Avenue M, in Midwood, Brooklyn, through the city housing lottery.

The apartments are studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms set aside for people in multiple income brackets spanning $46,286-$146,510 for one to five people. Rents start at $1,350 a month, for a studio. The units are for households earning up to 130 percent of the area median income. There will be 48 apartments in total, with the remaining ones available at market rates.

The smoke-free building, named M Tower, will be located at the corner of Ocean Avenue. Listed amenities include rooftop access with a recreation area and a laundry room. Two of the two bedrooms will have balconies.

The Avenue M station for the Q train is four blocks away. Shops and restaurants are along the avenue.
