Manhattan's median rent hits $4K, best sites for finding a roommate, & more

This week readers visited Brick Underground to make sense of New York City's rental market. In May, Manhattan's median rent hit $4,000 for the first time ever, according to the Elliman Report. To qualify for a one bedroom at that rent you'd need to show earnings of at least $160,000.
