With a sunny living space, a (somewhat) separate sleeping area behind a partial wall, three closets, and a bidet in the bathroom (if you go for that sort of thing)—there’s a lot to like about this Turtle Bay studio, 240 East 47th St., #4A. The 531-square-foot unit is listed for $625,000.

The studio is in the Dag Hammarskjold Tower Condominium, a full-service, white-glove building close to Grand Central and the United Nations, with an impressive amount of amenities that would have you living large here.

The living room has white walls, light-colored parquet flooring, and large windows on two sides—to the south and west. There’s ample room for a seating area with a sectional, a coffee table, and a pair of ottomans.

A partial wall is the same color as the floor and separates the sleeping area from the rest of the living space—most likely because of a building-wide prohibition against erecting a full wall. It’s a smallish space, but a full-sized bed fits in it comfortably. And it gets tons of natural light due to windows at the head and side of the bed.

The windowed kitchen has tiled flooring, blonde cabinets that match the parquet flooring and partial wall in the living area, and a mosaic tile backsplash. The stone countertops—tan with brown veining—also work well with the apartment’s overall color palette. There's a breakfast bar with room for two bar stools.

The light-brown color scheme continues in the bathroom—a much larger space than one would expect in an apartment of this size. There are rose-colored tiles on the floor, as well as the walls of the shower, a tan tub, toilet, and bidet (!), and a light-wood vanity and countertop that match up well with the cabinets and counters in the kitchen, bringing the whole apartment together.
