No-Fee Apartment of the Week: Amenities may justify $3,300 rent for downtown one-bed

This newly listed one-bedroom apartment is located at 37 Wall Street, a conversion of a highly-detailed Beaux Arts building. While the building and its public spaces are rooted in the past, the apartment interior is modern, with a high-end kitchen and bath featuring the ubiquitous stainless steel appliances and the somewhat less common (in a rental anyway) Carrera marble.

This doorman and concierge building has plenty of leisure options for the busy downtown professional.  There is a gym, spa, lounge, library and media center, billiards and screening rooms, as well as a roof deck. The $3,300/mo rent is not unreasonable for a luxury unit in an amenity-rich building. Pets are allowed, and there are numerous transportation options nearby.

No-Fee Apartment of the Week is writer A. Ready's weekly independent selection of a no-fee rental that she believes reflects good value given current market conditions. It is not an advertisement, nor is it paid for by any company/website mentioned.
