No-Fee Apartment of the Week: Yorkville doorman 2-bed, 2-bath, $3,950

With its long commute to the subway, Yorkville may seem like a serious compromise to some. But considering that the median price for two-bedroom, two-bath Manhattan apartments below 96th Street is $6,000, the $3,950 price tag for this two-bedroom being offered by Glenwood in The Barclay seems like it might be compelling to some. Although there are no pictures for this individual unit, Glenwood's apartments are generally in good condition and recently renovated.

The apartment has unobstructed river views and a 28-foot living room. The Barclay, at 1755 York Avenue (91st Street), is a full-service building with sun deck, fitness center and children's playroom. Carl Schurz Park is a short walk.
