Demand is still high for houses in the Hamptons, largely driven by New Yorkers who work from home and are living out east full time. If you’re thinking about buying a house here, you can find some options to choose from.

The median sales price reached $1,405,000 in the second quarter, a 30.1 percent increase from the year-ago quarter, according to the latest Elliman Report. Demand isn’t as intense as it was last year when New Yorkers were leaving the city at the height of the pandemic, however that sales rush has taken a lot of listings off the market.

Brokers say pools and space to work from home top buyers’ must-have lists. We found some houses that fit the bill in very desirable East Hampton, where popular Main Beach, Georgica Beach, and Two Mile Hollow Beach are located. Along Main Street, you’ll find plenty of places to shop and dine like Babette’s and East Hampton Grill. And there are also several parks, art galleries, and a movie theater.

So if you’re thinking of buying a place in the Hamptons, check out these five houses for sale in East Hampton including a five bedroom with an inground saltwater pool.
