This apartment, located at 201 East 69th Street (between Second and Third Avenues), is available as a sublet through August for $2,750 per month, or you can choose to sign a new one-year lease with the management company for $2,800 per month.

It’s listed as a studio, but the 700-square-foot apartment has a separate living room and sleeping areas (though the living space is bigger than the sleeping space).

Don't be too distracted by the dowdy furnishings: The apartment is on the 14th floor of a luxury doorman building with a 24-hour concierge desk, gym and a landscaped roof deck.

Pros: In addition to the above, there's the prime Upper East Side location and the architectural design — including curved walls and a 9-foot beamed ceiling. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and a granite countertop. The bedroom area has a walk-in closet.

Cons: There’s only one window in the whole apartment.

No Fee Apartment of the Week showcases an apartment that’s currently on the market and is being offered with no broker fee (otherwise known as the holy grail of New York City rentals). For tips on how to find more no-fee apartments, check out our Guerrilla Guide series.
