Tell us your real estate stories
In a city of 8 million people, there are at least ten times that many real estate stories. BrickUnderground wants yours.
What's it like living next to a Whole Foods or an OTB parlor or a bus stop? What do you think about your apartment now versus when you fell for it a few years ago? What happened at your co-op board interview? What apartment ordeals have you been through with neighbors, staff, renovations, landlords, bed bugs, etc.? And all you property managers, contractors, housekeepers, supers, brokers and real estate lawyers...what's the view from your side of things?
Drop us an email with the details (positive experiences welcomed too) and, hopefully, some teachable moments for your fellow vertical dwellers--because the point of all this (of BrickUnderground, actually) is to pull back the veil on the whole NYC real estate experience, shining a light on the darkest corners and making everyone a little smarter.
Names and identifying details will be kept strictly confidential, and don't worry if you can't write--that's why we have writers.
