This one-bedroom, one-bath rental, 30-50 21st St., #2V, in Astoria is listed at $2,450, which is a bit steep for the neighborhood considering the median for one bedrooms is $1,975, according to StreetEasy. That's actually the net effective rent with two months free on a 12-month lease, gross rent—what you'll actually be paying—is $2,770. The good news is that it's a no-fee rental, so you'll save on the broker fee. 

Apartment #2V is located in The Montenegro of Astoria, an eight-story building built in 2011 with 65 units. Amenities include a part-time doorman, a roofdeck with cabanas, grills, and outdoor showers, onsite parking, dry-cleaning pick-up, a fitness center, bike room, and storage. Pets are welcome.
