Applications have now opened for rentals as cheap as $589/month in a new Williamsburg development, per a new listing posted on NYC Housing Connect.

The affordable apartments are a mix of one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms for renters making either 40 percent or 60 percent of Area Median Income, ranging between $22,149 and $57,240, depending on apartment and family size. You can see the full list of apartment sizes, prices, and income requirements below:

The listing notes that the building includes an outdoor area, bike storage, and a laundry room, and as per usual with the housing lottery, preference will be given to current area residents, which in this case means Brooklyn's Community Board 1.

If you're interested and think you qualify, you can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect, or request a paper application by mailing a self-addressed envelope to WILLIAMSBURG APARTMENTS c/o Yuco Management, Inc., 200 Park Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10166. (Don't send in more than one application, or you could be disqualified altogether.) The deadline to apply is July 24th.
