The city and developers are now taking housing lottery applications for 42 below-market-rate apartments at new buildings in Bushwick and Crown Heights.
At 810 Flushing Ave. in Bushwick, nine discounted one-bedrooms are part of a seven-story rental building with a gym and a roof deck. The apartments will cost $1,039 a month, and are set aside for one- and two-person households making $35,600 to $45,800. The remainder of the building's 42 apartments will rent for market rates.
