The median price for a two-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn in the fourth quarter of 2017 was $918,000, according to a recent report from Citi Habitats. But don’t give up if the number in your bank account doesn’t even come close to covering a down payment on an apartment at that price point. There are still quite a few two bedrooms on the market that are more affordable. Here are five of them.

This two-bedroom, one-bath condo is on the ground floor, with a private vestibule entry. It has a chef’s kitchen with Caesarstone countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. It also has a washer and dryer, ceiling fans with wall-mounted controls, and double-hung windows. The building is pet friendly and across the street from two community gardens.
The apartment is listed for $765,000. Common charges are $486 a month. Taxes are $213 a month.
Priced at $560,000, this fourth-floor co-op has Manhattan skyline views, a windowed bathroom with the original tub and subway tiles, and a windowed eat-in kitchen with new stainless steel appliances.The apartment also has its original parquet floors with mahogany inlays, nine-foot ceilings, and five closets. The building allows 80 percent financing, and has a live-in super, a renovated laundry room in the basement, a new intercom system, a lounge, bike storage, and solar panels on the roof. No dogs are allowed, but cats are permitted. Maintenance is $440 a month.
Listed for $450,000, this nearly 900-square-foot co-op has two balconies (one off the living room, the other off the master bedroom), in-unit laundry, a shared backyard, and storage space. There’s also a renovated kitchen with new appliances and a tile backsplash, as well as a revamped bathroom with beige tiling. The apartment is in a three-story walk-up building that was built in 1980, and is just a few blocks from the R train. Maintenance is $649 a month.
