In-the-know observers of the real estate world have had their eye on Jersey’s Hudson River waterfront for years now. They have watched as Hoboken’s Hudson Tea community, in particular, has evolved from a former industrial headquarters into a dynamic residential neighborhood that blends the area’s rich history with an unabashed contemporariness.

Now comes the jewel of this lively and authentic 21st century nabe: 1425 Hudson Street at Hudson Tea. This waterfront condominium, designed by the Hoboken based architecture firm Marchetto Higgins Stieve, with interiors by INC Architecture & Design, rises 12 stories and has 99 spacious, exquisitely appointed units. When it opens, it will be the crowning achievement of a years-long development project overseen by Toll Brothers City Living.

Toll Brothers City Living constructed its sterling reputation with luxury residences in the most exciting urban environments in the country. Each boasts innovative architecture, world-class amenities, elegant finishes, and unparalleled services. 1425 Hudson is poised to join that roster, in the process redefining the meaning of sophistication and urban living along the New Jersey waterfront.

The beauty is in the details

For this project, Toll Brothers worked with the internationally recognized firm INC Architecture & Design to devise the interiors. Based in New York City, INC has an integrated vision of its architectural and design disciplines: they treat each project as an individual case, recognizing and synthesizing the distinct characteristics that form each home’s unique aesthetic.

Their creativity and attention to detail are on full display at 1425 Hudson, which reveals its thoughtful design and exceptional features at every turn. Expansive windows permit natural light on rich finishes and extraordinary details that are a level above what Hoboken has ever seen. Sprawling residences, from studios to four bedrooms, feature hardwood floors, washer/dryer, spacious closets and open layouts. The spaciousness perfectly suits the evolving demographics of Hoboken’s waterfront community, responding not only to where people live, but how.

The kitchens will impress residents and guests alike. Sleek oak-and-blackened metal cabinetry complements Quartz countertops and statement lighting. Thermador appliances make up a performance-driven line that includes a paneled dishwasher, five-burner gas cooktop, built-in refrigerator and slide-out microwave.

The baths, meanwhile, are the picture of style and serenity. Each offers custom double vanities with Quartz countertops, Kohler fixtures, and honed limestone floors for a blissful environment.

The luxury doesn’t stop at the door, though. Select residences have outdoor space offering stunning views, some with balconies and others with terraces that blur the boundaries between inside and out with disappearing glass doors. Private rooftop terraces that showcase the best of alfresco living, with built-in kitchens are also available for purchase.

A beacon of progress at Hudson Tea

Just as much thought and care was given by the award winning architecture firm Marchetto Higgins Stieve to the building’s design. A four-story brick podium is a reference to the neighborhood’s industrial past, when it was the headquarters of the Lipton Tea company. Rising above that is a sleek glass-and-steel tower, epitomizing the boldness and verve that have transformed the contemporary neighborhood.

But despite its impressive silhouette, 1425 Hudson is a boutique building, with just 99 gracious residences across 12 floors. It’s the kind of place where you get to know your neighbors by name and become friendly with the on-site staff.

Residents and guests alike are greeted in the welcoming lobby by a warm palette of earth tones, a flood of light through the oversize windows, and an attendant—it’s staffed 24 hours per day. The friendly staff and the automated on-site parking are just two of many homeowner-centric services that create a lifestyle of ease, comfort, and convenience.

Thirteen stories above is the rooftop, where you can escape to for an instant vacation. It includes a swimming pool, fireplace, barbecues, and oversized flat screen television. The in-building amenities also include a fully equipped fitness center and an inviting playroom for the kids.

It’s a truly welcoming, relaxing an environment, befitting a building that embraces the modernity of tomorrow and the historical authenticity of yesteryear, with design and finishes that catch the eye and nourish the soul.

You can score limited-time incentives for 1425 Hudson during Toll Brothers’ National Sales Event through February 18. For more information, go to 1425Hudson.com, visit the sales gallery at 1450 Washington Street, or call 201-795-1960.
