Could this two-bedroom be the best deal on the Upper West Side?

We look through a lot of real estate listings here at Brick, and it's not all that often we think to ourselves, "Wow, that looks like a great deal." Especially when we're perusing Craigslist. Especially for Upper West Side two-bedrooms.

But behold the NYC real estate unicorn: A charming, not tiny two-bedroom (with an office) in a great neighborhood that's not that expensive -- $4,200, with no broker's fee. (We even thought it was a fine deal at $4,400, but just a couple of days ago, the price was lowered by $200.)

Sure, it's only got one bathroom, and is in a walk-up, but for those who like charming apartments for decent prices—isn't that everyone?—this could be a pretty great option. Plus it's over $500 less than the  median price for two-bedrooms in the neighborhood

Take a look at the photos below to decide whether you want to check it out in person:

It could be pretty cool to come home to a house like this every night.

The kitchen has stainless appliances and A LOT of cabinet space. It's perfectly attractive to us, but isn't one of those brand-spanking-new ones either.

Same is true about the bathroom -- the apartment's only one.

Sure, the decor in this bedroom is a little bit dated, but the possibilities are there. And there are two windows!

So what do you think?
