We look through a lot of real estate listings here at Brick, and it's not all that often we think to ourselves, "Wow, that looks like a great deal." Especially when we're perusing Craigslist. Especially for Upper West Side two-bedrooms.
But behold the NYC real estate unicorn: A charming, not tiny two-bedroom (with an office) in a great neighborhood that's not that expensive -- $4,200, with no broker's fee. (We even thought it was a fine deal at $4,400, but just a couple of days ago, the price was lowered by $200.)
Sure, it's only got one bathroom, and is in a walk-up, but for those who like charming apartments for decent prices—isn't that everyone?—this could be a pretty great option. Plus it's over $500 less than the median price for two-bedrooms in the neighborhood.
