How much do you plan to tip the building staff this year?

An Upper West Side apartment is a hot commodity for many New Yorkers with families. But a fully renovated one? Now, that's just crazy. This week, StreetEasy’s Most Wanted -- the 10 sales listings folks surfing StreetEasy saved more often than any other -- is all about family-sized prewar renovated abodes in the West 70s, 80s and 90s.

In a turn-of-the-century brownstone on 83rd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues, you’ll find a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo on the market for $875k (pictured). Carrying costs are fairly reasonable at $456 for common charges and $715 for monthly taxes. The galley kitchen has been renovated with vintage green hard surface counters, frosted glass cabinet doors and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. The south-facing apartment gets natural light and offers radiator heating, as well as three new through-wall a/c units.  The catch: It's a walk-up (several floors up, judging by the rooftop views) and laundry is two more flights up.

Furth up, on West 95th Street, also between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues, is a new-to-market prewar $899k two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op that’s move-in ready. There's a full-sized separate dining room joined by French doors to the living room, and the kitchen is equipped with GE appliances. Plus, there’s an in-unit Bosch washer and dryer. The elevator is brand new and maintenance rings in at a very reasonable $1,311.

On Central Park West and 83rd Street, a completely renovated mint condition prewar two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op going for $1.75m has some modern twists, including a flat-screen TV and prewired speakers. Western and southern exposures in the living room and kitchen offer plenty of natural light and park views. Plus, the kitchen has a Bosch dishwasher, SubZero fridge, Jenn-Air cooktop and separate stove. Through-wall a/c units and a W/D round out the perks of this move-in ready space. The building itself has a 24-hour doorman/concierge, live-in super, party room, landscaped roof deck with to-die-for views of Central Park and more.

A renovated $1.325m three-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op in The Opera on Broadway between 76th and  77th Streets is located on a high floor (the 17th, to be exact). The renovated kitchen features Corian counters, a Fisher Paykel dishwasher and stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms have also recently been renovated. The building has a full-time doorman and laundry facilities on every floor.
