The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this

Looks like New Yorkers are willing to climb a few stairs for a great deal. Upper West Side walk-ups seem to be the trend of this week's Hot Dozen--meaning more StreetEasy.com visitors clicked on these rental listings over the past seven days than any others.

A one-bedroom apartment at 505 Columbus Avenue and West 84th Street is listed at $2,000/month. The apartment is less than a block from Central Park and pet friendly. But beware if you don't want to overwork those glutes; the apartment is four flights up.

A no-fee two-bedroom apartment at 104 West 96th Street and Columbus Avenue is listed at $2,350/month. The newly-renovated apartment is only a block from Central Park and the B and C subway lines. The large eat-in kitchen and sizeable common area highlights. Once again, an elevator isn’t mentioned, and this apartment happens to be located on the 5th floor of a brownstone, so you might want to prep your move-in with a few hours on the Stairmaster. And hire movers.

A renovated three-bedroom apartment at 324 West 96th Street and Riverside Drive is listed at $3,000/month and located just one floor up. Whatever the apartment lacks in charm, it makes up for in space. A kitchen with a dining alcove, high ceilings, windowed bathroom, and a live-in super all make the apartment well-suited for a share.
