A $4,800 two-bedroom, one-bath apartment is available at the Ohm, a newish 34-story luxury rental at 312 Eleventh Avenue known for its young and nightlife-loving demographic.

Dogs up to 50 pounds are allowed, after that, approval is on a case-by-case basis.

Pros: Most units have washer-dryers. Amenities are great--there's a fitness center that overlooks the river, a roof deck, a huge lounge with video games and pool tables, and two giant screens that show videos 24 hours a day.

Also, Knitting Factory curated a bi-weekly music series.

And the building is offering one month free rent.

Cons:
30th and Eleventh isn't the most charming of neighborhoods (calling it Chelsea, is, in fact, a stretch). Eleventh Avenue is a far walk from any public transportation and can feel rather remote (note the building does offer shuttle service).
