No-Fee Apartment of the Week: $3,200 Battery Park City one-bedroom

This week's no-fee selection is a $3,200 one-bedroom at Battery Park City's 22 River Terrace. The 27-story luxury building has a river and park-front location, and has picture-window panoramas.

Pros: There's a doorman, gym, children's room and outdoor space in this pet-friendly building. The promenade is outside your door. The building is offering a $500 credit toward rent if you come direct (without a broker) through February 29.

Cons: Some might find Battery Park City a little bit out of the way transportation and amenity-wise (though for others that out-of-the-city feel might be a plus). Also, since this is the least expensive of the 1-bedrooms currently on the market in the building, we suspect it's on a low floor. (Three other 1-bedrooms are available for $3,525-$3,675.) It also has a city view as opposed to a river view.

No Fee Apartment of the Week showcases an apartment that’s currently on the market and is being offered with no broker fee (otherwise known as the holy grail of New York City rentals). For tips on how to find more no-fee apartments, check out our Guerrilla Guide series.
