The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this

There is a happy place between bank-breaking extravagance and affordable grittiness. While this week's Hot Dozen—a collection of the most-clicked rentals on real estate site StreetEasy.com—includes apartments on both ends of the spectrum (note the higher-end studio to the left), there are a few that fall perfectly in between.

Among those that fall nicely in between are this Gramercy Park 3-bedroom, priced at $3,350, which doesn't appear to have the strings attached one might expect for the price. The unit looks clean and well-maintained and, judging by the photos, each bedroom is a reasonable size that could fit furniture as well as inhabitants.

And on the studio side, this $1,495/month unit isn't the cheapest 1-room abode on the market, but it's spacious, has closets, and is in the East Village—from what we can see, it's not a bad deal.
