Is this the defining cultural moment at which bed bugs scurry from social pariah to scurrilously hip?

Tonight at 7:30, the Brooklyn-ish online 'zine Gelf (dedicated to “looking over the overlooked”) is making bed bugs the focus of its  “Geeking Out” science series.

Renowned bed bug expert Louis Sorkin will be one of two featured guests at the event held in an art gallery on Pearl Street. No word yet on whether Sorkin will be bringing his famished little friends along.

Doors open at 7, free admission, drinks available; stick around for possibly the world's first bed bug afterparty around the corner at reBar.
