The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this

Believe it or not, spring is almost here (we know, the snow isn't helping us get in the mood either), and close proximity to parks will soon be worth the higher pricetag. Maybe that explains why a quarter of this week's Hot Dozen -- the 12 rental apartments Streeteasy.com visitors clicked on most often over the past seven days -- are only a short walk from Central Park (and Riverside, too).

three-bedroom apartment at 244 West 64th Street and West End Avenue (pictured) is listed at $3,000/month, and is not far from Central or Riverside parks. The apartment is well-priced and well-suited for a share, but the lack of a living room area outside of the spacious kitchen is a catch.

A three-bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment at 450 Amsterdam and 81st Street is listed with a net effective rent of $3,667/month. Not only is the newly renovated, 2nd floor walk-up apartment close to Central Park, it's also close to the Natural History Museum and the 1 train.

A studio apartment at 140 69th Street and Broadway is listed $1,750/month and is no fee. Located in a full service building with a 24-hour doorman, the apartment has already been rented out and is currently in contract.
