Tribeca remains the priciest neighborhood this quarter, with a median sales price of $4.34 million, but Hudson Yards, the new luxury neighborhood on Manhattan's Far West Side, which opened in March this year, comes in a close second, thanks to sales in its first completed residential building.

The pet-friendly building, The Bergendy, is fairly new, completed in 2017 and amenities include storage, a virtual doorman and shared roof deck. Monthly common charges are $322 and monthly taxes amount to $641. 

This three bedroom duplex, 555 Main St., #912, on Roosevelt Island, is offered at $1,199,000, which isn't far off the median price of $1,244,000 for apartments in the neighborhood.

The city failed to force repairs or move kids out of NYCHA apartments with lead paint.
