She has also contributed features, essays, and op-eds to The Nation, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and The Village Voice. She won a National Association of Real Estate Editors’ silver award in 2018 for her Ask an Expert column for Brick Underground. She is also a fiction writer and a creative writing teacher, and currently lives in Brooklyn.

360 Central Park West is one of those New York buildings that has undergone several incarnations. The property was a church until 1929, when it was converted to apartments under the direction of Rosario Candela, a Sicilian-born architect celebrated for creating some of the city's most striking residences. Then, last year, Argo Real Estate announced it would convert the rentals into condos, which have recently come onto the market.
