Small Wonder

Is this one of the last affordable studios in Prospect Heights?

Every time we happen upon a well-below-average rental apartment in a desirable neighborhood on StreetEasy, we do a little happy dance. And this rent-stabilized studio in Prospect Heights fits the bill. It's $1,650 a month, almost $400 less than the area median price for studios. (Which may make up for the fact that it's not exactly "condo quality.")

The apartment has hardwood floors and apparently you can fit a Queen size, couch, desk and table and more. You'll also be to walk to the Brooklyn Museum , Botanic Garden and Prospect Park.

And guarantors are accepted.

The photos are dark, but if you look closely, you'll see a separate kitchen. The bathroom also seems to be right off of the kitchen, however, which isn't necessarily ideal.

Note: It's a third-floor walk-up. To think of it in a glass-half-full type of way, you might be able to save on a gym membership, too.
