Reed Krakoff trades mansions on the Upper East Side

By Sharon Krum | May 14, 2014 - 11:59AM

WHO: Fashion designer Reed Krakoff recently sold his Upper East Side townhouse for $51 million, then bought another one for $28 million. We assume he’ll be spending the leftover $23 million getting new stuff at Home Depot. Or he could  just buy the store. Might be easier.

WHERE: Krakoff, the former Coach creative director who now runs an eponymous label, and his wife, Delphine, an interior designer, do their buying and selling in the Lenox Hill section of the Upper East Side, where the median sales price is $2.3 million and the median rental price is $4,200.
