The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this

In what is perhaps a sign of the college grads about to descend upon Manhattan and in need of shelter, all but two of this week's Hot Dozen (the rental listings clicked on more than any others on StreetEasy.com during the past 7 days) are located downtown, south of 23rd Street.
A bit further north is a recently renovated one-bedroom
apartment at 304 West 14th Street and 8th Avenue listed at $1,995/month. The
renovation added some nice new wood floors, stainless steel appliances, a re-tiled bathroom and what looks like a resurfaced clawfoot tub...where you may need to chillax after hauling your laundry and groceries up five flights of stairs. The bedroom is on the small side but there's the compensatory pleasures of having a live-in super and a nice view of the West Village from one of the apartment's many windows.
