The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this

Departing tenants can provide pertinent listing information that only someone who's lived in the place might think to bring up.

Such is the case with a $2,895/month 2-bedroom in Tribeca that made it into this week's Hot Dozen—the twelve most-viewed listings on StreetEasy over the last seven days. The current tenant--who is breaking the lease to move in with his or her girlfriend--took the trouble to enumerate all the details about which a renter might want to be aware.

Examples: The unit has a washer and dryer "ten paces" from the front door of the unit ("so it’s almost like having a washer/dryer in the apartment"). It has an oversized bathroom ("I have yet to see a larger bathroom in a one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan") and an Equinox gym in the building that offers a 40 percent discount to tenants.

The one downside appears to be a very strict pet policy.
