This $3,995 East Village two-bedroom is located at 202 East 13th Street, just off Third Avenue. Somewhat mysteriously (perhaps a reflection of the slow winter rental season?), the apartment price has dropped by $700 since it first hit the market in the fall, and is now being offered by its third brokerage.

The building has a remote doorman system.

Pros: The apartment has exposed brick, stainless steel appliances and a granite kitchen.  It also has a washer/dryer(!) and two marble bathrooms. According to the ad, it can be converted into a three-bedroom, though we suspect that at around 900-square-feet, that would be a bit of a squeeze.

Cons: It's a third-floor walk-up and the newly updated kitchen is one of those infamous NYC kitchen walls rather than its own room.

No Fee Apartment of the Week showcases an apartment that’s currently on the market and is being offered with no broker fee (otherwise known as the holy grail of New York City rentals). For tips on how to find more no-fee apartments, check out our Guerrilla Guide series.
