Paris Hilton checks into Noho

WHO: DJ and perfume entrepreneur Paris Hilton went apartment shopping in New York recently, which made us curious. If your last name is Hilton, isn’t there a hotel or ten you can stay in? Why not save your money and spend it on things that truly mean something, like shoes?

WHERE: Hilton, who will have no problem paying her maintenance thanks to a reported $2 billion in perfume sales, paid $4.9 million for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse in Noho, where the median asking price is $4.75 million, and the median rent is $5,900 a month, according to StreetEasy.
