The building and apartment have lots of prewar details.

If you're looking for an apartment with park views and you don't have a Central Park budget, consider this two-bedroom co-op at 570 44th St. in Sunset Park. Listed for $700,000, the apartment has one bathroom, and get lots of light thanks to large windows. It's priced above the median of $555,000 for a two bedroom in the area, which might be at least partially justified by the neighborhood's namesake park being directly across the street.

The two bedrooms (one of which has a safe in the wall!) are on opposite sides of the apartment for increased privacy, and the place has lots of prewar details, including French doors, hardwood floors, and moldings.

Both of the bedrooms are on the small side.

But there's a full dining room and a living room.

The kitchen has lots of counter space and cabinets.

The bathroom could use updating, depending on your taste, but the clawfoot tub is probably a keeper.

The building has stained-glass windows and a wrought-iron and marble staircase. A common charge of $672 a month goes towards a live-in super, laundry, and bike storage.

The building is three blocks from the 45th Street R station and nine blocks from the Ninth Avenue D station.
