Demand plunges for NYC rentals, stop harassment from your neighbor, & more

This week, readers visited Brick Underground for a monthly snapshot of New York City's rental market. According to The Elliman Report, rental listings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens reached a 14-year high in August, and the number of new leases with concessions, like free months or no broker fee, is the highest in a decade—but demand for rentals is way off: New signed leases dropped almost 24 percent.
