WHO: Actress Michelle Williams recently bought an apartment described in the listing as resembling Tara from Gone With The Wind. (Interesting sales pitch.) We think we’ll try it when we list our apartment and call it Gone With The Fridge. We live on takeout, so we sold the fridge and replaced it with a shoe closet.  So if you don’t mind pizza every night and love to shoe-shop, have we got a kitchen for you.

WHERE: Williams, mother to nine-year-old daughter Matilda  (whose father is the late Heath Ledger), paid $2.45 million for a 114-year-old Colonial Revival mansion with eight  bedrooms in Prospect Park South, Brooklyn, where the median rental price is $1.925 and the median sales price is $1.6 million.

WHAT'S AVAILABLE:  While it's not quite as big as Ms. Williams' house, there's a not-too-shabby four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath house available down the street for $2.699 million.
