Today we bring you a rather unusual listing for a house at 16 Stuyvesant Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, near the edge of Bushwick.

Listed by Citi Habitats for $5,500 a month, the partially detached house is described as two separate apartments being rented together, but Department of Buildings documents indicate that it's a single-family house on paper.

What that means is that for the asking rent you get four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two kitchens. That's above the $3,372 median for a four bedroom in the neighborhood, but for the right family or group of roommates, this could be worth it.

The basement level has a separate entrance and an updated kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and a washer and dryer. There's one bedroom down here.

The first floor has an open concept living room with a chef's kitchen and an island. The kitchen leads out to a backyard with a deck. A bedroom off the living room has folding French doors.

Upstairs are three bedrooms with two full bathrooms and a large walk-in closet. One bedroom has skylights and French doors, and another bedroom has a fireplace.

Wondering where to go out? The bars Happyfun Hideaway, Skytown, and Lone Wolf are nearby, as is the resurrected DIY music venue Market Hotel.

The house is also just one block from the J, M, and Z trains at Myrtle-Broadway, which get you to Midtown or downtown in about 25-30 minutes.
