Looking for some refined peace and quiet for two in the Hamptons this weekend? Check out this one-bedroom suite in a renovated historic Greek Revival 1840s whaler home, renting for $385 a night. Located in an owner-occupied home (but with a separate entrance), accommodations include an antique queen bed, a bathroom with handmade tiles and a Whirlpool tub and shower combo. There is also wifi, a washer/dryer and a small refrigerator.

Retire to the porch with a book and a crisp glass of Chardonnay from a local vineyard and take in the artist-designed sculpture garden and landscaping. When the mood strikes, you can also make the eight-minute walk to town to enjoy the pier (there's a lobster shack at the end). If you need the beach, it's a 10-minute drive away, or you may be able to take a dip in the hot tub on site (from the looks of the listing, you should ask if it's working at the moment).

Sag Harbor is one of those Hamptons towns that still retains its artsy—though undeniably upscale—vibe, and it's packed with restaurants and ice cream shops, including the area's own answer to 16 Handles, BuddhaBerry.
