A spacious living room anchors this postwar co-op.

This two-bedroom, one-bath co-op in Flatbush has a lot going for it. Listed for $389,000 with $770 a month maintenance, 745 East 31st St. #2D  has a decent amount of floor space and was recently renovated.

The apartment has hardwood floors, and its two sizable bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment. Each has a ceiling fan. The living space (pictured at top) is large and bright and also has a ceiling fan.

The kitchen was recently gut renovated. It now has stainless steel appliances and a white subway tile backsplash. On the downside, it's too narrow for seating, and it has no window.

The bathroom, also renovated, is less on-trend but clean and bright-colored, which is fortunate because it too lacks a window.

The postwar building has a live-in super, a shared courtyard, and a heated indoor parking garage. The apartment comes with the option to rent a parking space for $120 a month. The building is pet-friendly, and one block from the 2 and 5 trains at Flatbush Avenue. There's a Target and other big-name shopping options there at the Junction (of Flatbush and Nostrand avenues), and Brooklyn  College is a short walk away.
