Yes, BrickUnderground's agent referral service is free

By Teri Karush Rogers| November 14, 2011 - 11:57AM

In the two weeks since BrickUnderground relaunched its agent-client matching service, we've found ourselves answering the same couple of questions a lot, so we thought we'd ask-and-answer them again here.

1. How much does it cost to be matched to an agent?

Introductions to the agents in our curated network are free. Sellers, renters and landlords have the same fee agreements with their agents as they normally do. BrickUnderground is paid a referral fee by our member agents when and only when your transaction successfully closes.

2. How do you actually do the matching?

First we try to understand your specific situation and housing needs.  Then we carefully consider our agents' specialties and methodology to make sure that you get the agent who can help you best.  You get the individualized attention that is necessary to ensure the best possible experience throughout the matching and search process.

Drop us an email if you have any more questions, and if you're in the market, be sure to check out (and pass along!) our new insider's guides to buyingselling and renting a New York City apartment.
