The two bedroom is attractive but on the small side.

This two bedroom at 17 East 17th St. is steps from the Parade Grounds, and a short walk from Prospect Park proper. Apartment #D4 is actually a condo, so it is likely you would renting from the owner, but that is something to investigate.

The apartment is on the small side at 750 square feet, in a prewar building called The Presidio Condominiums, and it has definitely been updated. It's listed for $2,600 a month with no broker's fee.

The apartment is sharp-looking, with white oak floors, custom millwork, and high ceilings. The kitchen has high-end appliances and a breakfast bar, and appears to have a good amount of storage.

The bedrooms do not have a lot of room for furniture, but they have clean lines and look attractively uncluttered as currently (virtually?) staged.

There's classic subway and penny tile in the bathroom, and the subway tile extends to the ceiling.

The building has a bike room and a roof deck, and allows pets and guarantors. It is a block from the Q train at Church Ave, and it takes about 35 minutes to get to Midtown.

The building had persistent maintenance issues in the past few years leading up to and following its condo conversion, which you can see in data compiled by Rentlogic.
