This three-bedroom, one-bath rental at 474 Madison St. #F in Bedford-Stuyvesant is renting with no broker's fee for $2,600 a month, slightly below the $2,783 median rent for a three-bedroom in the area.

It's not dirt cheap, but it's also not bad for Bed-Stuy in 2018, and roommates could help shoulder the cost. There is no floor plan with the listing, but a video tour shows that the bedrooms are true bedrooms (with windows and doors, as opposed to partitioned-off cubbies).

The kitchen has new, stainless steel appliances, including a Haier French door refrigerator, a microwave over the stove, and a Haier dishwasher.

The living room has white oak wood flooring. It looks a bit narrow, though.

The bedrooms are cable-ready, according to the listing, and have hardwood floors and recessed lights. One bedroom has a decorative fireplace, shown at top.

The bathroom is new and has a deep tub.

The apartment has modern, industry-inspired light fixtures made of black pipes.

Tenants can control their heating and cooling and have access to the entire basement. There is laundry in the building. The backyard, which has a grill, is shared by the tenants.

The building is across the street from a playground and close to shopping and restaurants. It's a 10-block walk to the A and C trains at Utica Avenue and Kingston-Throop.
