A recent price drop brought this Murray Hill condo, 330 East 38th St., #24NO, just to the threshold of luxury pricing in New York City. The apartment, with three bedrooms and four baths, is currently asking $3,000,000, after a 6 percent cut in November. Monthly taxes are $2,218 and monthly common charges are $1,801.

According to StreetEasy, this combination apartment has been on and off the market since May 2018, when it was listed for $3,500,000. 

For comparison, another listing in the building offers buyers the opportunity to combine two apartments, #30MN, to create a four bedroom, four bath—the adjacent listings are being sold together for $3,650,000. And a slightly smaller, already combined apartment, #33CD, with an asking price of $2,950,000, is in contract.

The 840-unit building with 54 floors is distinctive. Completed in 1988 and occupying an entire block, the facade has fluted towers that create curved walls of windows.

Apartment #24NO has south- and east-facing views. The living room has a wall of 18 large windows overlooking the East River.
