BrickUnderground's Renter Referral Program Update: "Find me a place a broker would live in"

BrickUnderground's Renter Referral Program is one week old today, and so far dozens of renters from in and outside NYC have requested a match with a good Manhattan rental agent in what the Wall Street Journal reported last week is the tightest rental market in 5 years.

Some renters have been quite descriptive about their apartment requirements. Our favorite: "Looking for a place a broker would be happy living in."

Others have some questions, ranging from how to find an apartment to accommodate a piano (answer: quietly, as landlords take a dim view of pianos and the noise complaints they typically produce) to finding a "no-fee" rental agent, to whether BrickUnderground is paying the broker's fee (no--we just make the match and stand by to offer further help if need be).
