The Jersey Shore's Long Beach Island, a barrier island extending along the Atlantic Ocean, is typically home to about 10,000 residents, but in July and August the population can swell to over 100,000, thanks to the area's beautiful beaches and chill summer vibes. The island is home to a number of municipalities, including Ship Bottom and Long Beach Township, in addition to landmarks like Ship Bottom Beach, Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, and Schooner's Wharf in Beach Haven.

Other highlights include fun seafood eateries like Ship Bottom Shellfish and Black Whale Bar & Fish House in Beach Haven (not to mention more land-based meals at places like Uncle Will's Pancake House and the Chicken or the Egg) in addition to fun spots like the shops at Viking Village or the Surflight Theatre.

But really, Long Beach Island's draw is the beach, and the area is loaded with adorable beach houses. Consider, for instance, the three-bedroom, four-bath beach house at 2905 Long Beach Blvd in Long Beach Township's Brant Beach, now on the market for $899,950. The house was built in 2013 and has a sunny stone patio and an in-ground swimming pool.

On the ground floor, the entryway has room for bookshelves.

There's also a sitting room with a wet bar.

In addition to a bedroom.

And a half bath.

On the second floor, there's a kitchen outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

In addition to an open-concept living/dining room.

The living room also has a nice fireplace.

There are also three bedrooms on the second level. This one looks like the master bedroom, and has some great lighting thanks to the French windows:

It's not clear from the listing, but this looks like the master bath. The glass shower/tub combo is a nice touch:

Here are two more bedrooms:

And another bath.

Upstairs, there's a home theater with room for couches, in addition to deck access.

And here's the deck:

There's also an outdoor shower on the ground floor, to wash off after the beach.

Here's a view of the pool, covered for the season.

And a spacious stone driveway with what looks like a gravel yard..

Other highlights include an in-ground swimming pool and the ocean, which is only two blocks away. The house is about a two-hour drive from Manhattan.
